Young People - Deeper

Deeper is for anyone aged 14 and over (although we do tend to draw a line if you're aged over 25!). We are presently awaiting new leader. At the family service on 5th July 2009 the congregation and members of Deeper said a sad farewell to Cathy Butler who had run Deeper for a number of years.

During the autumn and spring terms, we have used the Connect Bible Studies to discover what the Bible has to say about themes and issues that arise in films, pop music and recently released books. And yes, we do watch a lot of films! Recent films watched and studied have included the Matrix, the Simpsons, Billy Elliot, the Lord of the Rings and Chocolat. During the summer, because most of us have exams (such as GCSEs, AS levels and A2s) we take things much easier - watching films in our pyjamas, eating pizza, going ten-pin bowling, having barbecues and generally enjoying each others' company.
