Introduction:

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25th May 2018.

There are now two distinct privacy policies:

  • General and
  • Role Holders

Most church members should use the General option - here

(If you are a PCC member, and for some other roles, you should use the Role Holder option - here)

Revision January 2019:

The Electoral Roll is covered by a different Privacy Notice - here

A consent form is required from each Church Member:

This superceeds any consents you may have given under The Data Protection Act and is available here. Printed copies will be available at the back of the Church.

Please return completed and signed forms in the box provided. Any problems speak to Barry.

It is important we can demonstrate compliance and this file will be central to that policy.

The forms will be retained on a consent file and this forms part of the way these provisions are administered. As the Data Protection (Compliance) Officer, Barry will be responsible for keeping it up to date.

  • We never ever sell any data to third parties.
  • We don't keep payment details on file.
  • We only store the minimum data we need.
