Tablet in the South Aisle dedicated to Mary Wright

"In the middle aisle of this church are deposited the remains of Mary Wright relict of the Revd Joseph Wright of Chorley in the County of Lancaster formerly Rector of Litlington and Vicar of Alfriston both in thisd County and afterwards Rector of Fulbeck in the County of Lincoln where he died on the 14th Day of December 1802 in the 74th year of his age. She survived him more than 28 years and died at Uckfield on the 29th day of July 1831 in the 90th year of her age.

And in the vault on the North side of this church are deposited the remains of their daughter Mary Wright who died at Uckfield on the 28th day of August 1817 in the 48th year of her age."
